Recipe Suggestion:

Ingredients:
500 g flour, 50 g sugar, 1 egg yolk, 20 g yeast, 50 g melted butter, milk, a little salt.

Method of preparation:
Activate the yeast in a little lukewarm milk, then add the sugar, egg yolk and flour with a pinch of salt and the melted butter. Make a soft dough and allow it to rise until doubled. Roll it out thinly and cut into finger-wide strips. Lightly oil the baking rod and twist the dough onto it, overlapping slightly at the joints. Place the rods on the rack and bake the dough over hot charcoal until golden. Remove and roll in nut or cinnamon sugar or coconut flakes while still warm.

Two rods can fit on the rack at a time.
