After the best before date listed on a product, the food will be safe to eat but may not be at its best. Product description Cake jelly powder with forest fruit flavour to coat a 24 cm diameter cake. Ingredients sugar, gelatinizing agents (standardized carrageenan with sugars E407, gum from the seeds of carob E410), monopotassium tartrate stabilizer E336i, anthocyanin dye, berry flavour, concentrated beetroot food colouring, acidulant acid citric, hardening agent potassium chloride E508. Preparation and storage Preparation and use One sachet is enough for 250ml of water or fruit juice. Mix the contents of the bag with 2 tablespoons of grated sugar. Gradually add the water or juice while constantly stirring with the whisk. Boil for 1 minute while constantly stirring with the whisk. Allow to stand for 8-10 minutes, stirring several times. When the texture thickens, carefully pour it onto the surface, starting from the centre of the cake to be coated. Tip • You can make the gel flowable again by heating it. • If the cake base is sprinkled with icing sugar before filling, it will not soak from the jelly so quickly.
